Without formal art education, Britt found her authentic style by teaching herself the techniques of oil painting. She curated a limited palette that she uses in most of her paintings consisting of titanium white, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, raw umber, and French ultramarine. This palette causes her work to radiate harmony and authenticity.

Britt is driven by a profound admiration for nature that is reflected in her work. She is fuelled by an inexhaustible urge to explore new ways to improve her work. Through her work, Britt aims to convey the deeper meaning of life that she experiences herself. Without trying to force her objective on the viewers of her work, she subtly hints through composition, lightning and colours.
